A comforter (in American English), next known as a doona in Australian English,[1] or a continental quilt (or understandably quilt) or duvet in English, is a type of bedding made of two lengths of fabric or covering sewn together and filled with insulative materials for warmth, traditionally the length of or feathers, wool or cotton batting, silk, or polyester and additional the length of every other fibers. subsequently quilts, comforters are generally laid exceeding a summit bed sheet (and sometimes then blankets). Some sets have a duvet and duvet cover (more popular in Europe) in place of a comforter and summit sheet. More deluxe sets may total a bed skirt and pillows.
Comforters are usually used in the winter season once it is unconditionally cold, although a variety of different thicknesses means that they can be used in additional seasons as well, in the manner of lighter examples physical used in warmer weather.
