A comforter (in American English), in addition to known as a doona in Australian English,[1] or a continental quilt (or handily quilt) or duvet in English, is a type of bedding made of two lengths of fabric or covering sewn together and filled afterward insulative materials for warmth, traditionally next to or feathers, wool or cotton batting, silk, or polyester and new by the side of exchange fibers. with quilts, comforters are generally laid beyond a top bed sheet (and sometimes plus blankets).
